It was our first time there. You pay before you eat and you order at this little window when you walk in. Dining room is a nice vibe. We got free bread and breadsticks brought to us. Service was pretty fast for them being kind of understaffed. We both liked our food, Alfredo sauce wasn't the best though. Overall great experience, definitely going back.
We’ve been coming to Renzos since we went to school here 25 years ago. Food is still fantastic and service is even better. Mama Renzo always makes you feel like you’re having dinner at home. We love Renzo fries, pizza and turnovers.
Food is all homemade and very authentic. Renzo fries are a MUST. I enjoyed the fettuccine Alfredo. The homemade fettuccine noodles were amazing and the Alfredo, one of the best I’ve ever had. It came with a small dinner salad. This establishment is CASH ONLY. No waitress, you order at the window, pay cash upfront before your food is delivered to your table. Highly recommend reservations for larger parties of 6 or more. It’s a wonderful Mom and Pop restaurant experience.
To my taste, this is the best pizza in Kenosha. They might not be number one in all aspects of their thin crust pizza but overall, repeating, it is my number one! I do not think you can find better sausage on a pizza in town. I haven't. Their stuffed pizza is remarkable. Do yourself a favor, try one. The pizza turnovers are tremendous. Get a big one, get a small one. Just get one! I've had & enjoyed the Stromboli! Now the meat Ravioli? My all-time favorite! This place is a Kenosha treasure! Thanks Renzo's for your being YOU!
That old school feel of a place where they come out and really ask how you like it. The pizza turnovers are delicious as to is the sauce served on them. Want a chance to relax and eat without all the background distractions, this is the place to go. The Renzo fries are a must
Amazing food and service! We had the Renzo fries, gnocchi, pizza turnover, and a pizza. Everything was delicious. The staff was super friendly and there was no wait. Can't wait to come back!
Wow! We stopped here after a day trip to a local beach and will travel to Kenosha to come back. They make you feel like family. I mean it's like you are at a friend's house and their grandma is cooking you dinner but she also does the grandma things, like happily smiled when our table was too crowded and helped us move to a bigger table, sweetly warned my eager 5 year old not to eat the hot pasta when she ignored me and was about to, and even brought us a free appetizer out to sample and popsicles for the kids. Definitely come on a weekday when it's not busy so you can interact with the family (I'm guessing they're family because it feels like it). We were a little confused when we went in, we didn't know you had to order from the window or seat your self but they walked us through everything and it was low stress that way (with 2 kids, we could sit and read the menu and order when we were ready). They even have a whole wheat pasta for people that want that. My family was equally impressed with the homemade sauces and the sausage. We also had a Detroit style pizza to take home to my husband and for leftovers. The only thing I would do next time is order extra sauce to take home to eat with the leftover pizza.
